Messaging Policy
Effective June 26, 2026
MultiMessage (“MultiMessage,” “we,” “us”), operated by InnerSite Solutions LLC, provides a platform that lets our customers send SMS text messages to people who have consented to receive them. This Messaging Policy explains how messaging works on MultiMessage, the consent and opt-out rules that apply, and the responsibilities of everyone who sends messages through our service. It is designed to align with the CTIA Messaging Principles & Best Practices, mobile carrier requirements, and the Twilio Messaging Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Who sends messages
MultiMessage is a messaging tool. Our customers (“Senders”) use it to message their own contacts (“Recipients”). Each Sender is responsible for the messages they send and for having a lawful basis and proper consent to send them. We provide the controls — including consent tracking and automatic opt-out — that make compliant messaging practical.
2. Consent & opt-in
Senders must obtain prior express consent from each Recipient before sending them any message through MultiMessage. Consent must come from the Recipient directly and may not be purchased, rented, traded, or shared. At the time of opt-in, Senders must clearly disclose:
- the identity of the business that will be messaging them;
- the types of messages they will receive;
- that message and data rates may apply;
- the expected message frequency;
- how to opt out (reply STOP) and get help (reply HELP);
- a link to this Messaging Policy and to our Privacy Policy.
Senders must keep records of consent and provide them to us upon request. MultiMessage only delivers messages to numbers a Sender has added to their own account.
3. Message types & frequency
Messages sent through MultiMessage are typically relationship and follow-up messages between a business and its existing or prospective clients — for example introductions, check-ins, reminders, and replies to inbound questions. Message frequency varies by Sender and campaign and is controlled by the Sender. Recurring messaging programs disclose their frequency at opt-in.
4. Opting out (STOP)
Recipients may opt out of messages from a Sender at any time by replying STOP (we also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT). When a Recipient opts out:
- they are immediately marked opted-out and removed from every active campaign on that account;
- no further automated messages are sent to them unless they later opt back in;
- the opt-out is recorded with a timestamp.
Opt-out is honored globally and automatically by the platform — Senders cannot override it.
5. Getting help (HELP)
Recipients may reply HELP at any time for assistance, or contact the Sender directly. For help with MultiMessage itself, email [email protected].
6. Message & data rates
Message and data rates may apply to Recipients depending on their mobile plan. MultiMessage and the Sender are not responsible for charges imposed by a Recipient’s carrier.
7. Supported carriers & carrier disclaimer
Messages are supported on major U.S. wireless carriers, subject to those carriers’ terms. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is best-effort and not guaranteed.
8. Prohibited content & uses
Messaging through MultiMessage must never include content prohibited by carriers or by our Acceptable Use Policy — including, without limitation, content related to sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, or tobacco (“SHAFT”), illegal substances, fraud, or other high-risk or unlawful categories. Sending unsolicited messages (spam) is strictly prohibited.
9. Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates this Messaging Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, carrier rules, or applicable law (including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CAN-SPAM Act), with or without notice.
